My name is Xuming Hu. I am a fourth-year Ph.D. student at the School of Software in Tsinghua University, where I am advised by Prof. Philip S. Yu and also co-advised by Prof. Lijie Wen. I am very fortunate to be supervised by Prof. Irwin King as a visiting scholar at CUHK from Sept. 2022.

My research interests lie in the fields of natural language processing and deep learning. In particular, I am interested in mining structured information from heterogeneous information sources and focus on:
1. Low-resource, open-world information extraction and entity-related information extraction
2. Automated fact-checking (especially fact-checking by retrieving real-world evidence)
