[Honor] 20250123 Prof. Irwin King elected as ACM Fellow

Prof. Irwin King was elected as a Fellow of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) for his contributions to the theory and practical application of machine learning in social computing.  He is among the 55 fellows whom ACM selected from its membership this year. Prof. King’s research encompasses the theoretical and practical development of algorithms and models for social computing applications, including social recommendations, graph neural networks, federated learning, social media analysis, and more, with the goal of ensuring the trustworthy use of AI.
